“If I had a hammer” –Peter, Paul and Mary.

My Glorious, my fellow comrades in the deviant and sly art of blogging… I would like to extend to you a belayed, happy Turkey day. First though, I would like to say this though THIS HOLIDAY CELBRATES THE RAPING OF THE NATIVE AMERICAN LAND, CULTURE AND WAY OF LIFE. That being said, I like this holiday because,

One: I like to get the day off.

            Two: I like to eat.

            Three: I like football.

Anywho, I went down to Rachael’s house over this last week and it was gloriously, glorious to say the least. I will only highlight events that happened because frankly,

One: I don’t feel like typing out my entire week.

Two: My memory sucks.

Three: Only Jason (Webmaster and Blogging deity) reads through my long, boring details of my trivial life.

Alrighty then, here is a list of the fun, slightly comical, memorable moments of my week (of the things I can remember, cut me some slack. Geez, pushy, bastards.)I arrived a day early and surprised Rachael, she tried calling me about eight times that night (while I was on my way there) to tell me not to drive on the next morning because the roads would be bad. Me sooo sneaky.

I helped Tim (Rachael’s father) look over a (NOT BUS) bus, to purchase it.

Tim and I took the bus home the next night. (I meant to say NOT bus, bus.)

I hate to keep on talking about this bloody bus but, it had a sign in it that said “Polka Magic”. Oh yes, it’s NOT a bus, bus.

Rachael and I had a lovely day and night every day and night.

I got Rachael to watch: The Royal Tenenbaums, Bottle Rocket and finally Reefer Madness. (I don’t think she enjoyed Reefer Madness as much as I did.)

Rachael made a delicious Thanksgiving meal (I ate a lot of it, it was good.)

I whooped Rachael’s ass at Monopoly (I WON A BOARD GAME) mark it down on your calendar: November 25, 2004. I WHOOPED Rachael’s ass at a board game.

Quentin and I played everyday and had a glorious time.

John and Bekah and I went to go see “The Polar Express” then went to a parade, froze our glories off and went to Pastor Pete’s house for a bonfire. Glory!

Quentin kept Rachael and me up till 4:00am on Sunday. I need to say no more.

I slept in on Monday.

Smooched Rach goodbye and drove here and made this Blogg post.

I don’t know why I decided to make bullets; I’ll probably never do it again because,

A: I think its retarded.

           B: It is retarded.

Goodnight.

You’re Gonna make me lonesome when you go. –Bob Dylan (1975)

Sunday:

I know that I am going out of order of the days of my weekend but, glory! Bite me this is the day that I drove home from Rachael’s house and I thought this one was more important. Glory, I woke Rachael up probably about 9:30am she needed to be at work for 1:00pm. We had a good morning, Quinten woke up, Rachael took a shower …and I and the Q-man make eggs for breakfast while listening to the sweet sounds of the Anti-Nowhere League and Rancid. Rachael came out of the shower smelling wonderful and looking even better!.. and we conversed of the night previous and about the next time I was planning on coming up for the weekend. John and Bekah came back to the house around this time and I had John take a photo of Rachael, Quinten and I because, I have pics of Rach and Quinten, Rachael and I and just photo’s of Just Quinten and I but, none of all of us together (I can’t wait to develop the film) Rachael at this point was gulping down a quick breakfast of oatmeal and running out the door to leave we kissed goodbye and settled that I would come up not this coming weekend but, the one afterward. Tim and Sharon came home around this time (while I was doing the dishes) and later on we had a Glorious lunch. I took a shower, packed up, said my “goodbyes” and headed out to Albany. This is when I get to the part of showing you how God is generous and merciful, even to his incredibly stupid children. I first stopped off at some gas station and check the air pressure in my driver’s side front tire, 10 lbs. under. Not Good. And so I went to the air pump and it said .50 cents to use. I opened up my wallet to not only not find any change at all but, no cash either. Damn. So I decided to go to the next station and get gas there because, I thought they had a free air pump so I got gas, used ye ole’ credit card and looked at there air machine to find out they charge too. SO I walked in and asked them if they would charge an extra bucko so I could use there machine and I got a resounding “no.” I little depressed I called upon the Lord and said “God I can’t drive home on this tire like this.” And after I finished my prayer I pulled my car around the side of the station where they have the air pump and checked my fluids. As I did this, an older women pulled up in a big ole’ Chrysler and said “Excuse me but, do you work here?” (She sees me working under the hood of my car) I replied “No” she said “I’ve been trying to find a place that will put air in my tires.” I turned to her and told her I would be happy to but, she said “No, I’ll try and get someone who works here, that’s there job but, thank you.” I smiled and continued to check my fluids, not two minutes later she came back outside and said they wouldn’t fill her tires (I could see all of her tires were flatter than a pancake) so I again told her I would fill them she, finally agreed and I went around the car. We were talking for the moment she told me of the difficulty of finding a place that would fill her tires, her son ect. I told her “Chivalry is dead.” And continued my work, I finished filling the tires and she thanked me and walked back inside the store. She came back out and gave me a dollar and I told her “no, it’s okay get your tires checked tomorrow.” She replied “take the money” I’ve learned not to argue with people. I took it and she told me “I was a gentleman.” I replied “My girlfriend tells me the same thing on occasion.” She smiled and drove away. As I stood there I realized that I could get my tires filled now. Not two minutes after I asked the Lord for help, He provided it for me. As she drove away, I lifted my eyes to the Heaven and thanked the Lord for this blessing. I cried aloud “The Lord is God, The Lord is One.” Walked inside the building and filled my tires with change to spare. Isn’t that just like the Lord? I don’t know how in this life, I can ever complain, the Lord always sees me through. As I was thinking those thoughts the verse Psalms 121 came to me:

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills- where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD , the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber;

– Chelsea Morning, Joni Mitchell.

Me O’ my I had myself quite a weekend, I know that I am posting this really late but, believe it or not I’ve been a tiny bit busy as you soon will see with all the aspects of this Glorious few days. On with the weekend…

Thursday: I went to my classes and yes I even went to Japanese class. No I will never make that mistake again, I am an official “F” no other way around it, and I tried everything except orally pleasuring my Professor and no such luck. Oh well I headed out to Horseheads, NY around 3:00pm. I made it to Rachael’s house around 6:00pm, Tim was there and we talked for a moment. He sent Quinten to bed about 15 minutes before I got there. I was about to cry (If Quinten goes to take a nap this late, he will never sleep.) Tim told me Rachael wanted me to call when I got in. So I called, woke Quinten up and he and I played until Rachael got home around 9:30pm or so. Sharon came home a little (oh Tim= Rach’s father, Sharon= Rach’s Mother) before then but, she was running in and out. (She forgot something at her hairdressers). Anywho Rachael came home and we had fun, I think we watched a movie or two and I of course, got to see some Farscape. I went to bed around 2:30am or so.

Friday: Sharon and Tim woke me up around 7:30am to say goodbye, they were heading down to go to Plattsburgh to surprise Sarah (My Webmaster’s Fiancé and their daughter) I went back to bed and got up around 10:30am. Rachael had the day off and we had planned to go out to see her good friend Misty. I was a little nervous to meet her; I don’t know why I guess I wanted to make a good impression. If you know me I usually never make a good first impression (Just ask Ted Van Houten aka Mr. France in the Pants. I almost beat him up the first time I met him.) So I took a shower and my stomach was still hurting at this time (no matter what I ate, I had horrible heartburn.) so I ate nothing. We had to do some shopping though before we left to Misty’s. We went to Wal*Mart, some grocery store and then we got some subs at Pudgies (I had no idea that they sold subs before, I Rachael sarcastically told me the full name of the store is Pudgies’ Pizza and Subs. Smart ass.) We arrived at Misty’s and I met her and her three children (Anthony, Jonathan and a little girl, I don’t remember her name) not to mention Misty’s mom was there to with one of her children. The kids were cute; the oldest was as sick as a dog though and was sleeping on the couch. This one little kid named Anthony, he was so damned cute. He was missing a few front teeth and had a very small vocabulary but, I knew he wanted me to play with him so, I chased this kid all around Misty’s house and then when I sat down he wanted me to pick him up you, think I resembled Santa Clause or something but, hey I was having fun too but, I got a look from Misty. She told me that this kid didn’t let anyone pick him up ect. So I received Misty’s blessing to continue dating her friend because “I was a decent guy.” I took this as a great compliment. We stayed for a few hours then, as we were ready to head out Misty’s husband came home and so we played (Rachael and I) played babysitter’s for about 30-45 minutes. 15 minutes into our fun, fun sitting. Misty’s mom came there with her I think 3 or 4 kids. My Glorious it was a convention or about 8-10 kids. I just sat there and as I was just observing the youngling’s Rachael came up to me and asked me if I would want that many. The only words that came to mind were “Oh God.” That was it. She told me later that she was kidding, thank Glory. We headed back home later on that night, Rachael did a little of her homework and Quinten and I watched a movie. Later on we put Quinten to bed and watched a movie that Misty let her borrow. I fell asleep and went upstairs to bed around 2:30am.

Saturday: I got up at 9:30 am took a shower, did the dishes and had a little something to eat. Oh I also got some of my homework done. Rachael woke up around 11:00am or so and she started to do a little of her schoolwork. While Rachael was doing her homework, Quinten picked up all his toys, I got him changed and we went out for a walk. We went up and down her street, swapping manly stories and smoking cigars (well maybe Quinten wasn’t smoking but, it sounds manly.) We played a bit in the yard and then went inside. Rachael and I hung out for a bit then she went to work. Quinten and I watched movies, played with cars and made prank calls to Rachael’s workplace. Needless to say, Quinten and I had a ball. Rachael came home after picking up some milk from the store. I put Quinten to bed around 10:30pm or so and Rachael and I stayed up and watched movies and talked about life, love and other mysteries (aka non’a yo business punk!) John got home that night late (John= Rachael’s brother) he was at a youth convention in Utica or some region around there. Rachael and I watched a movie; I went to bed around 3:15am.

Sunday: I got up around 9:00am and I knew that Rachael had to work at 10:45 am. Since it was so quiet though I got more of my homework done but, around 9:20am Quinten woke up and I got him changed and he helped me make breakfast (we made eggs) while listening to the soothing sounds of the Dropkick Murphy’s. I roused Rachael out of bed about 15-20 minutes before she had to leave, made her some coffee and she headed out to work. After Rachael left, Quinten helped me do the dishes and then we went out for a long walk and later on we played outside in the leaves. I called Rachael later on in the afternoon and she told me she was going to stop by home on her lunch break so I made her a sandwich and got her a soda. I put Quinten down for nap and thirty minutes later Rachael came home grabbed the soda (she had a smaller break then expected) and kissed me goodbye (and ran back into her car and went to work). I finished up my homework and woke Quinten up about 4:45pm. Tim and Sharon came home around 5:00pm and I helped Tim unpack and we talked till about 10:00pm when Rachael got home. John got home around 9:00pm and showed me his ceramics (which were quite beautiful, he made them himself) Rachael finished up her homework and we watched a movie, she took a shower, later on Quinten went to bed and we talked and watched some Farscape until 2:45am, when I went to bed.

Monday: I got up around 9:10am, took a shower and woke Rachael up about 10:00am. Kissed her goodbye, made some coffee and headed back to Albany, I ran into a little bad weather outside of Binghamton but, beyond that it was smooth sailing. I laid back and relaxed and called Rachael around 1:40pm when I got back. Did some more relaxing and studying and called Rachael again about 12:30 am and went to bed.

Tuesday: I got up around 7:30am and got my study on for my Juvenile Justice class, then later on got my shower on and drove down to campus for 11:30am. Grabbed a tasty pie, took my test (wow it was a long essay) had a nice lunch and headed out to the mall to pick up my mom a birthday card (it was her birthday yesterday, I called her on Monday night) I went back to campus to my film class and watched the Woody Allen film with Diane Keaton (1976 but, I don’t remember the name but, it was funny) Later on I went to CA (Campus Ambassadors) hung out with my homies, yo and drove back home around 9:30pm. Watched the Daily show and fell asleep around 12:00am, woke up at 3:00am and realized it was 3:00am and called Rachael quickly to tell her that I fell asleep and we decided to talk the next morning.

Wednesday: I got up at 7:20am suited up and ran out to my car and moved it in the freezing 17 degree weather (It was in faculty parking) I moved it into a nice spot came back inside and had a big breakfast and went back to bed until 11:00pm. I got up and called Rachael we talked for a few hours, I took a shower and headed downtown to Draper Hall to go get permission to enter a Criminal Justice class for next semester, just to find out for Criminal Justice I will have wait till the first day of the next semester to get into the class. Booger! So I got back into my car and drove to Getty’s gas station filled Rory up BOK! And went to the mall to work off my lunch and pick up a disposable camera. So I walked through the mall bought a camera at CVS (actually it was buy one get one free, I signed up for a CVS card today.) I drove back to my dorm to find my roommate had bought me a box of tea (he said because he ate me food) he’s the man. Now currently I am typing all this up. I know this is a long Blogg message but, I made it to apologize for the wait. Enjoy. I promise not to wait this long again.

Sorry my fellow partakers in the ancient art of Blogging but, Glory Almighty! I’ve been busy. Last weekend Dan and Danielle got married (I was the best man) Rachael and Quinten came down to meet my parents (which went better than glorious, my parents love her and Quinten). On Monday, I was doing my homework and for the past week have had horrible stomach pains from eating well anything. I don’t know why. Oh well and on Tuesday I drove home to Plattsburgh, NY to vote. Nader or Bust, homies. Unfortunately Ralph Nader didn’t make even a 1% margin in this election (they (Nader/Camejo) opted not to have there names on the ballots of swing states. Florida is a big Nader voting ground (oh well). I guess the Devil we know is better than the Devil we don’t. I came back here, talked to my Japanese Professor. We both agree that I am going to fail and also agree in the fact I cannot drop. So have limbo will travel I guess, someone please pay my penance. My Glorious and again this morning, I have this writhing pain in my stomach but, I am heading out to go to Rachael’s house for the weekend around 3:00pm. God is so good to me. Remember folks, an idiot in office can’t do much in four years (besides: Start a pre-emptive war, take out a political leader, isolate our country, make everyone hate us with the exception of Britain and Israel, destroy the Clean Air Act, Allow big Corporation Uber Alles to pollute with almost no limitations and manage to piss off 48% of Americans in the Process but, 51% say fuck us more. Oh well, Kerry would have done worse, don’t lie to yourselves.) Okay, I am going to class now.
