The wedding.
I know everyone says “that was a great wedding.” or “everyone was crying.” but, man alive. I have to say it too. Jay and Sarah had one of the most, intimate and glorious service and after party that I’ve ever seen…However there was some comic relief in the service via the groomsmen. When it was time for Jay to get the ring from the best man (me) I started to reach into my pockets and saw no ring. I leaned over to Father Franny, he searched and turned to Nate, Nate turned to John and he turned to Evan and he did the same. The look on Sarah’s face was one of shock and horror but, I was just joshing him and I handed Jay the ring. Everyone laughed and cried. It was glorious.
Toasts, Dancing and merriments.
Jay requested that I would do two traditional Japanese blessings (toasts) “Banzai” blessings if you will. The crowd gave me a funny look but, Jay and the immediate friends on the in all gave a shout and a toast. Evan and Jay had a dance off on the floor, Jay pulled some sweet stuff but, was pwned by Evan whipping out the robot. I was even out there dancing, fast and slow, swing to disco, word biach.
Evan and I took Jay and Sarah to the airport at 7:00am this morning to Burlington, VT. We were “Randomly” selected on the ferry over to VT to be searched. I rolled down the window as the woman took my ticket and asked to look in the trunk. I looked at the woman and casually replied “I only have seven kilo’s of coke in the trunk.” the woman gave me a look and opened the trunk. The woman saw that the trunk was full of luggage and just shut the lid and handed me back my keys; I turned to the woman and with a huge grin said “You didn’t even look did you, I have seven kilo’s of coke in the back. I got away, I got away.” Good times.
