The winds of change are blowing…

It seems to me that to everything in my life it has a season… A season of birth, growth, life and death, it’s a repetitive stage. These stages range from family, romance to school and the New York Yankees. I think I am at the starting point again though, a flame was extinguished, a love was lost and now a new love grows. As I sat down to think about these seasons, these lives that have passed and influenced me on the way, how much more is it to think of this in the eternal? I remember being a youth (at least some of it) I remember coming to Christ in my early teenage life and how much I have grown in my faith, in my knowledge of Him. I also know this is still my birthing place though, although I have known Christ for a little over a decade now I am still growing. Still stretching out my roots, searching, seeking but through all of this world has to offer you have to realize that its just a season. So if you screw up and you think that it’s too late in life to change remember whether its the beginning or the end, a new season will come. We all die, that’s just the beginning.

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace. -Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
