"Ring them bells Sweet Martha, For the poor man’s son…

…Ring them bells so the world will know That God is one.Oh the shepherd is asleep, Where the willows weep, And the mountains are filled With lost sheep…” Ring them Bells.
-Bob Dylan 1989.

I was driving through the adirondacks earlier this week, it’s a gorgeous time to tour the area the trees are green, the sun is shining and the grass is tall. As I was traveling through to get back to Albany it made me think about Bob Dylan’s song Ring them Bells.
The entire song is about witnessing the love of God to the lost. I know that I personally haven’t been doing it as much as I should. In this day in age We Christians have become so politically correct that we are afraid to tell people that we even are Christians, to share the Word or proclaiming sin to be sin for example, we are afraid now to say that homosexuality is wrong or taking a pro-life stance. I am sick of it, you know, man up! Stand up and proclaim truth, stop hiding you weak-hearted brethren and get out there! Show the world that Christ is in you. Remember the great commission wasn’t a request it was a command.

And He [Jesus] said to them, β€œGo into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they[b] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” - Mark 16:15-18

“Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.[e] But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary[f] and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, β€œThe harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” - Matthew 9:35-38

Man up Christian.

*I know this isn’t my normal type of post. I am feeling very zealous and angry at the Christian body and I wanted to get it down for everyone to see. This isn’t against every Christian its against the Sissy, Mary Lou, Lame-asses (including me).
