Over these past few hours I’ve been accounting all the most important things in my life. My God, my family, my friends, and the love of my life. Jen and I spent the holidays at her parent’s house. I had three Christmas’s: 17th, my house, 24th, Jen’s mom’s house and the 25th, Jen’s father’s house. Afterward on the 27th I drove Jen to NYC to get on a plane headed to Brakina Faso, Africa. This was one of the most difficult things I have had to do, find JFK airport in the midst of the borroughs. Well, that was the second hardest thing, I’ve ever done. The first was seeing her get into that line to get on that plane. Jen will be gone for three weeks on a missions trip. After 30 seconds I missed her. It’s now 2:33am, Dec, 29th. All I have done is pray for her, her safety and us. I love that woman with all of my being. I know that God will bring her back well but, my human side still has a hard time with her being so far away. Sometimes in our life we come to a point where we have no control of a situation, all we have to rely on is God. It takes faith. I know, I know, if you know anything about me, or read any of my posts about 40% of them are on faith. Like it or not, I have learned to live on it. I have had some pretty tough situations in my life where I thought I was going to die. Whether it had been of my own doing such as, O.D. on drugs, near misses, car accidents or otherwise. God has been the key focus. I can’t do anything without Him. It seems to me that sometimes I need a reminder of how much I need Jesus. I think that’s why things happen, good or bad. God is testing His children, to see if they have the stones to take the risk, to play the game, to fully rely on Him. I envy Jen, I think she has such a tremendous faith in God. Right now she is risking her life to talk to people about Jesus in a land that hates Christians. People ask her why would she do this? Why would she risk her life on these people? One answer, she has faith in the God that told her to go. It’s the same command Jesus gave to all of those who believe in Him.

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” -Mark 16:15-18

The missions field doesn’t have to be a different country, it could be your neighborhood. It could be to your family, your friends. This doesn’t mean push a Bible down someone’s throat, it’s living the life. Living the way that Jesus did. Loving others as you would love yourself. It sounds easy but, it’s not. I am sad to say that I don’t do it all the time. It breaks my heart sometimes, the cowardess I have about telling someone about God but, I press on. I get pray for strength daily, life is hard but, God is good. If you think that I am spouting off a bunch of bullshit, I dare you to try Jesus. Try Jesus, pray a prayer to Him and ask Him for forgiveness for your sins and live one week with Him. I guarantee you, you will never go back. The world has nothing to offer but, pain and death. God is good, just try. Build your faith, like my future wife. I love you Jen, come home soon.

No, not that time of the month…
It’s time for another exciting addition to the:
DOUCHE BAG Of The Month (D.B.O.T.M.)!!!!

That’s right, scientists that work for The Whimsical World of Mahutaville (W.W.O.M.) have come up with yet another exciting discovery that will shock and amaze you. Yes, it’s true you thought that it couldn’t happen again but someone has taken up the throne to the biggest Douche Bag award. Our deep-rooted analysis of the human psyche and recent douche baggery of this person has rocked the core of modern science and psychology. I give you The W.W.O.M.’s Douche Bag of the Month: Alec Baldwin.
Whether he is making another craptacular blockbuster or giving his opinions on politics, on the Friday’s Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO:
“Most Republicans who are registered Republicans are decent, honest good people who you have a difference of opinion with,” but, he alleged, “the leadership of the Republican Party are a bunch of sociopathic maniacs who have their lips super-glued to the ass of the conservative right.”

Alec Balwin continues to stupefaction and jolt our minds here at The W.W.O.M. Thoughout all of this we have come to the conclusion that someone, no matter how much we analyize sadly, will probably de-throne him within the next month. Until that day, Alex Balwin you are the world’s biggest Douche Bag.

That is all.
